Malacañang has declared August 10, 2015 a holiday in the City of Koronadal for the highly anticipated opening of Koronadal International Folklore Festival also dubbed as Pyesta Kolon Datal.
On Thursday, August 6, 2015 Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. signed Proclamation No. 1089 or "Declaring Monday, August 10, 2015 as a special (non-working) day in the City of Koronadal, South Cotabato"
